Universities Ireland-Joint Business Council North/South Scholarships award ceremony

Four Universities Ireland/IBEC-CBI Joint Business Council North-South postgraduate scholarships for the academic year 2009-2010 have been awarded. Two of these scholarships, in subjects of interest to business, are jointly funded by Universities Ireland and two firms (Dublin Port Company and RPS Group), and two by Universities Ireland alone. They are worth 15,000 each.

Bryan T Mukandi a graduate of NUI Galway is doing a Master’s in Political Philosophy, Queen’s University Belfast, Deirdre McKenna a graduate of Queen’s University Belfast is doing a PhD in Architecture at University College Dublin, Anna Magee a graduate of the University of Ulster, Jordanstown is doing an MSc in Energy Management at Dublin Institute of Technology and Mairead Cantwell a graduate of Trinity College Dublin is doing a MSc in Spatial Regeneration at Queen’s University Belfast.
